Okay. We say this every time, but this is absolutely one of our favorite projects to date. We recently teamed up with Jessica from Pine Street Makery to bring her personality and sense of style to her product photos. Jessica makes screen-printed tea towels, prints, notepads, tote bags, and more (all available in her Etsy shop!). She loves color and pattern, a little quirk, and some classic kitsch. We had a single sit-down with Jessica, and we knew just the concepts we wanted to bring to this shoot. In fact, we ultimately went with two totally different concepts that we were able to bring together for a few of the shots. Concept one: The 50s housewife with a serious case of ennui - pairing our 'model' with handmade paper food and cigarette props. Concept two: Shapes and color and pattern. Now, enjoy these images shot by Betsy Limbaugh and be sure to stop by Pine Street Makery! Screen Printed Towels and Notebooks by Pine Street Makery
Handmade Props and Product Styling by Craftcourse Photography by Betsy Limbaugh Earlier this summer, we teamed up with Lauren Athalia for an amazing shoot inspired by Warby Parker glasses. We spent a day on set with an amazing team of folks (all listed below) to bring to life these colorful, geometric sets that basically the stuff that Craftcourse dreams are made of. If you're in need of a little of unique brand of set design, shoot us an email at [email protected]. READ ON FOR LOTS MORE PHOTOS!
We recently teamed up with local artist Mary Mooney for some super fun product styling. Mary creates beautiful abstract paintings on acrylic that become both large hexagonal art pieces for your wall and gorgeous little pieces of wearable art for your neck. We are pretty much all about everything Mary creates. We love her use of modern shapes and bold colors, so we paired Mary's wearable art pieces with our own brand of modern shapes and bold colors. Be sure to check out Mary's entire collection here. Jewelry by Mary Mooney Art.
