Last summer, our friend Patrick asked us to give him a hand decorating and styling his new place. For the style, he requested, "Fresh on fresh on fresh." Sounded good to us.

...And then, we brought in our own brand of handmade and craft to create a unique and thrifty space. We kind of got lucky because the walls were already painted these great neutral-yet-dramatic tones, and the cork tile floors were pretty spot-on for our vision. Otherwise, we began with only a TV, a media stand, and some concert posters, and we were able to finish the whole room in under $1,200!
